Safety

Take your time. Keep your boundaries.

Practical guidance for protecting personal information, setting boundaries, recognizing unwanted behavior and using Life Mate safety controls.

Protect your information

Keep passwords, verification codes, identity documents and unnecessary private contact details out of profiles and messages. Never share a verification code with another member. Review each contact-sharing choice before granting access.

Avoid pressure and financial requests

Be cautious of requests for money, urgent transfers, investment offers, external sign-in links or attempts to move a conversation before you feel comfortable. A profile photo or verification step is not a guarantee that someone is trustworthy.

Use blocking and reporting

You can block a member and report a profile or permitted message through the available safety controls. Reports and staff review reasons are private. If your own account is suspended, Account notices and appeals provides a separate route to request a review.

Meet thoughtfully

If you decide to meet, choose a public place, tell someone you trust about your plans and arrange your own transport. Stop the conversation or meeting if you feel pressured or unsafe.

Child safety standards

Life Mate is for adults aged 18 or older. Accounts or profiles for anyone under 18 are prohibited, including profiles created by relatives or friends. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking, sextortion and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These rules apply to profile photos, profile information, messages and conduct connected with the service. Report suspected underage accounts or exploitation immediately and stop the interaction.

Report a child safety concern

Use Report on a profile or permitted message, or contact our child-safety contact at contact.info@findlifemate.com. Include a member ID and a brief description if available. Do not download, forward or attach suspected abuse material to an email. The operator reviews reports, restricts offending accounts and removes confirmed prohibited content, preserves evidence only where appropriate, and reports confirmed child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities as required by applicable law. Reports are handled privately, with disclosure when needed for investigation or legal obligations. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; this service does not provide an emergency response.
